They must have raised the repair price. I sent mine in for repair for my R1 button (I had dropped it and it had actually broke the micro switch off completely). It was $120 +$30 shipping. They basically had a single fee for minor repairs and one for major repairs.
They only considerd mine a minor repair for me at the time though, not sure why this users got called a major.
Teamspeak or mumble comeback???
(I know it won’t)
Legion Go has detachable controllers, if thats what you meant.
I use Emby with the lifetime premier (their ‘premium’ version).
Works great, but honestly I would just point people to Jellyfin unless Emby provides something specific you need. I just use it because it’s what I’ve had for years.
I’m assuming this for anyone who bought directly from their website? You don’t need to enter an email into anything they have software wise to my knowledge.
Still sucks it happened but they seem to be taking the right approach to fixing it imo.
I named mine after different Half Life characters: GMAN- Server FREEMAN- Main Gaming Rig ALYX- Laptop
And so on…
Cloud streaming is not a replacement for steam.
I’ve had more fun in the last 2 weeks I’ve been playing Rivals than the entirety I’ve played Overwatch 2. The game just wants to seem more focused on being fun rather than competitive.
I use my steam deck docked primarily to stream from my main PC to my living room. I haven’t noticed any battery degradation when I do use it in handheld. I got it March 2022.
Also if you happen to be using Emby as a media server, the emby theater app image supports controller :)
On one hand, I get it. People can be unnecessarily toxic, but completely ignoring feedback just doesn’t seem right either.
Retrodeck in your case then if you just want a simple setup.
If your looking for a f2p game similar to this just play Beyond All Reason.
Free and open source. No energy system or microtransactions.
Not asynchronous though.
If you sideload VLC yes. I don’t believe it’s on the official app store.
There’s a docker image called wg-easy I use with a nice web interface.
Armbian with CasaOS
I can’t speak on moonlight specifically on the pi 4, but it running steamlink on wasn’t bad on it, so I can’t imagine it’s would be any worse than that for moonlight.
Wired Nvidia shield TV has been my best experience when it comes to both moonlight and steam link out of all of the devices I’ve tried it with.
Another only digital console: ew.
Gyro in an Xbox controller: W
I use mine docked fairly frequently. No major issues that I’ve had. Just note that if you change the games resolution to higher than the steam decks native screen, you’ll sacrifice framerate for it.
Don’t use the same account for 2 different people. Create another and use Steam Family sharing to fix your issue.
although you still won’t “own” your games, but that’s the life of a PC gamer. Best you can do is buy from GOG or find/run shady cracked versions.
