If I recall correctly, the m.2 port on the front has a faster bus speed than the one on the back for that mobo. Don’t know if that might influence your decision.

I keep mine on 24/7, except I have a cronjob that runs in the early AM to check if it needs a reboot from unattended updates and reboots if needed.

Depends on the game

A good example is the Ori games compared to Hollow Knight. Ori moves at a different speed depending how much you push the thumb stick so it feels more precise to use them. In Hollow Knight you move the same speed with the thumb stick no matter how little it is pressed so the d-pad feels better.
