i don’t get hitman. the game provides all these cool guns, but in order to get top ranking on missions, you have to use exactly ZERO of them. wtf?
corporations would make breathing a subscription service if they could
skyrim bethesda is not the same thing as starfield bethesda
you get used to it a few years into your 40s
isn’t it pretty much what amazon’s been doing since the beginning? the difference being there’s no “app” like camel yet to track prices over time at a single store
but yea, still another reason not to go to walmart. how do they mitigate the problem of something being $X when you put it in your cart, and the price being X+whatever by the time you get through the 2 mile long line at one of the 2 open registers?

FO 1 and 2 were world-changing for me when i played them in the late 90s (“HUGE installation” = ~500 megabytes of space), and implanted in me a lifelong love of all things post-apocalypse. this IS exciting, because those original games are dated almost to the point of unplayable. but you can still get them on GOG for a couple bucks–they’re definitely still worth that price
wasn’t portal just a mod? very short game, but has some of the most memorable moments in all of gaming

LOL i think the only potential “new subscribers” remaining are the people who never had and never will have a netflix sub. at this point one of the many reasons i’ll never sign up is because fuck shareholders in general
