No way Spyro is ever gonna be more popular than Sonic OR Mario.
I don’t think Spyro will be quite as popular as Sonic or Mario considering the sheer number of his games that have sucked past the PS1-era, but a lot of millennials grew up with him, and he was so popular that the Spyro remake did very well.
The Spyro remake brought it to younger generations who can also grow up playing his games, and further cementing Spyro into overall nostalgia.
Yeah. I mean, have you heard about what Spyro’s creator is doing nowadays? I’ve heard he’s working at subway as a sandwich maker. You can Google “Spyro subway” to find out more about him.

sigh yeah, I’m pretty sure Google specifically tries to filter the image out, even when safe search is disabled. Doesn’t help that imgur’s NSFW purge deleted all the full-res versions that I’m aware of.

Hmmm, Spyro himself may not be that popular but Skylanders did crazy numbers. Activision made a butt load on the toys, it was like #1 best selling toys for years. Definitely not touching Mario but I think it has to be near Sonic
Probably not, but he is the cutest of the bunch imo so I guess he’s got that going for him
They’d be smart to go after the weird furry Sonic crowd and add boobs to Spyro or something
