I don’t think the requirements are any different. setup.sh just sets an ENV variable or two and then calls docker compose to get it running.

While I prefer a bare docker compose, plane does basically have a one-click script to run it.
Emby was borne out of classic workplace toxicity, in that Jellyfin was becoming too corporate so a couple devs forked off to keep it clean.

Vaultwarden has an “emergency access” feature so if something happens to me my wife can take over the account.
I also added the kids to our “organization” but didn’t give them write permissions to their passwords yet so they can’t accidentally change something.

I kind of get it from Proton’s POV. If they have a free tier that allows a limited number of devices they’ll want to make sure you don’t tunnel all you devices through that one.
If you don’t trust the devices inside your own house, no amount of VPNs or e2ee are going to help.
If it’s entirely on your lan, your isp isn’t involved and a VPN is just adding unnecessary complications.
When I spin up a new self hosted service it’s easier to add caddy to the stack than to convince Firefox to load http.

Ok, so maybe I was mistaken, maybe it’s using the already established session you have open, or maybe it takes a restart for that setting to take effect. It’s hard to tell from one gif. I remembered it not working when I had that unchecked.
