  • I’ve been on Bazzite for about a year now at this point and I love it. Everything just works for the most part, and the things that are more annoying can still be worked around easily enough.

Started dual booting CachyOS recently and am loving that as well. Definitely weird at first to use the terminal to install things but super satisfying once you get the hang of it. Feels slightly faster than Bazzite on my pc, I’ve been using it more often then Bazzite the past month or so.

But I definitely recommend Bazzite for anyone hesitasting about switching, it’s a great OS and the Bazzite forums are friendly and helpful when you run into issues.

  • I live near the northern border, and recently a client at work wanted us to cross the border to pick up samples weekly, my job is shipping/receiving so I got asked and said not a chance I’m crossing the border once, let alone regularly. Just need one asshole having a bad day and what could I even do about it.

Luckily I have good bosses and none of them want to do it either and don’t blame me for not wanting to do it. Now the client will pay more to ship directly to us through a 3rd party.

  • I’ve made it close to the end of Witcher 3 and loved every minute of it, I just got obsessed with factorio at the time and kinda stopped playing lol. Completely agree that the story is absolutely amazing in that game, the characters are awesome and even side quest stories are very well done, let alone the main quest stories.

Automata is better than that IMO and that’s not a slight against Witcher, Nier is just that good when it comes to the story.

It ran at a steady 60 FPS / 1080p / ultra settings for me on my ancient GTX 970 / i7 4790k when I first played it so the steam deck should be more than enough to play the game.
