They could literally be Pokemon and I wouldn’t care. I’m not going to defend the largest franchise with one of the most litigious copyright teams that primarily got popular having kids gamble on card packs.

If they were to run some applications on the side it would validate the power usage. Like if it also was a Plex server it could be more reasonable to use more power.

Could also really hinge on the electricity cost for their region. At 10 cents a kwh and a delta of 100 watts we’d be talking 87 dollars a year assuming it’s always running at a delta of 100 watts.

I doubt there will be a 100 watt delta especially newer architectures that idle really well.

I just wanna see happy developers get recognized and appreciated. I guess I should have expected capitalism to tell me that’s not allowed.

Or Starfield capped at 30 fps and you can’t fiddle with settings to get 60 or more. It’s like you don’t own the damn thing and traded freedom for convenience.

Or games you just can’t play anymore unless you have an old working console. If you want to play Oblivion again you better hope your console still works.
