As far as I know Lemmy stores only text locally and images and such will be linked to the external instance. Text doesn’t use much disk space, so that shouldn’t be a big a problem. Sometimes when you browse Lemmy, you notice posts that have broken links to images. It’s because the other instance is down, but you can still see the text portion of the posts on your home instance.

Isn’t it so that if you play hardcore mode (your character dies permanently), and you disconnect for any reason, your character is considered dead? Online only requirement goes really well for that kind of game mode, where it might be the server that falls offline, and not your PC…

Pretty much this. Also 4060 uses only 8 PCIe lanes, so if your motherboard happens to support only PCIe 3, the performance will be limited by that.

Some people use laptops for doing mobile work, and in some cases that work requires computing power and possibly external peripherals which might require power from the computer. And, of course, games are power hungry.

Higher wattage chargers can also charge the battery faster. Lithium batteries, regardless of their size, can be charged to full in one hour (but it’s recommended for full charge to take about 1.5 to 2 hours to not wear down the battery). The bigger the battery the more wattage you need to charge it that fast. Especially if you are using the computer at the same time.
