Id say they are most likely in good health. But anything could happen. Always reccomend having a backup option in place.

Agreed, i mainly mention Crystaldisk because its a quick free tool. Definitely reccomend using multiple avenues of info gathering to determine hardware health.
You can track the health status of most smart enabled ssds. Can use a tool like crystal disk info
Personally i have 2 7 year old ssds going strong without issue. Mainly used for storage and games, so the r/w rates been pretty lower on them.
Ssds do have a total maximum write cycles to nand. Really depends on the use cases over the 5 years.
Starfield has its issues for sure. But anyone rating it worse than FO76 is absolutely delusional. Or atleast if we’re comparing launch vs. launch. Not launch vs. 5 years of active update post launch.
Edit: i mean my point literally. I have played both and this is my opinion about both games. This isn’t meant to be a debate about rating systems nor the games lol.
Yeah thats true, i was mainly giving the poster some leway at a consumer level. I made the swap in my personal systems in 2014 and havent looked back.
Brother, im not claiming you complaining about a point of contention is an issue at all. Get off your high horse. We all know the game has performance issues
Also those games you listed are bing impacted by slow access times of your HDD. They just are not impacted as much as the one you are currently complaining about.
Starfield has a SSD listed as a min req for the game. You not meeting the min req WIIL cause issues.
Intel 670p nvme drve is $0.035/gb a WD blue 7200rpm HDD is $0.030/gb. Its a roughly $3-5 difference per TB.
If you really need that $3-5 bro, i can send you it lol.
What about the rest of your specs? You got a pentium 2 in that thing and 512Mb of ram or somthing sheesh? The futures now old man.
Yeah physical spinning disks haven’t been relevant on mondern systems outside of cold data storage since roughly 2016. Price difference between SSD and HDD are pretty much the same up to the 1-2tb range. Its also listed in the minium requirements for the game.
Think its time for a modern storage medium my dude.
I just want to mention: wizards with full tadpoles, attck roll reduction with bonus damage roll increases + magic missle at 6th level pops off similarly as hard and never misses. Was doing roughly 170-210 damage a round.
Cant wait to see what other crazy builds people figure out!
Does it have bugs, of course, nothings perfect.
Can’t say too many games on the scale of BG3 came out this year that can check as many boxes. It takes GotY for me as well personally.
