Morrowind had some pretty crazy implied stuff if you went down the right quest trees and read the little details. Remembering about stripping for Crassius Curio still makes me feel a touch dirty and violated. Telvanni had some rapey stuff going on too.
Steam can be pretty loose with the period too within reason. I only returned a game once, it was the Outer Worlds and I put like 4 hours into it. I explained to them that at that point it was clear that choices didn’t have the big impact I thought they would and I felt deceived.
My wife found out BG was out. Saw it was a full release price and was kind of like, “meh I can wait”. I joked about everyone playing just wanted to edit their character’s genitals and she immediately put it on top of her Wishlist.
As in Half-Life 3 will be announced soon.
I watch the Vinesauce video of Vinny playing the game. The damn thing looks like an alpha build. I could see developers showing this to the suits on top thinking it was a solid start and being told to ship it. The foundation of a good game is there but it is total shit otherwise. It would explain why there is a placeholder image in the middle of one of the cut scenes.
