Native. Streaming doesn’t seem to work smooth enough on my home WiFi.
I’ve had the opposite experience, I almost exclusively game on it because I can use it lying in bed. So much more comfortable than sitting at a desk for me.
Once I got a Steam Deck, going back to a Switch (for ToTK) feels super awkward for my right thumb. Like I have to hold it funny to adjust the camera and then shift to hit the buttons. Never noticed it before I got my Deck.
Yeah I keep falling off Elite Dangerous, despite loving it. I’m been playing Caves of Qud and ToTK and loving them.
You’re not wrong, but at least I get to experience games with him, so that’s fun most of the time.
“People in their 40s… even if you have kids, you have more disposable income than you did in your 20s, but you have less time. So you might still want to play games, but I feel repressed by games that want me to play every week.”
Oof I feel that.
That’s a great point. Don’t want the poor whittle CEOs to have to actually do any work for their ridiculous salaries.
Now he knows how us regular people feel when we have to fight insurance and the doctor’s billing office to get them to code/process the claim correctly and keep calling to bug them for the refund check and it still takes over a year. Welcome to the real word.
Why does this guy’s camera always look greasy!?
Dave the Diver!
I’m 40 and I’d rather play a video game than watch a movie.
I’ve been following this one, but I’m not really sold on it. I feel like it’s a little too sandbox for my tastes, but I love the aesthetics!
Techreport is another one I used to read all the time, but it got bought out and is a shambling corpse of it’s former self.
I am so sorry, that is a horrible story. It is not your fault!
Interesting. I’ve personally never had a problem with my arms falling asleep, and this looks like it would force my arms into a weird uncomfortable position, but I’m sure there are some people who would really like this.
Ooh Night in the Woods was good.
Gregg rulz ok
I have been meaning to pick this up for a while! Just wish it ran better on the Deck.
So I played it for a while several years ago and kinda got bored with it. I got to the bottom of the mine and had married one of the characters, and my farm (such as it was) was mostly automated so not much to do there. I know there are a bunch of story moments but I got tired of wandering around randomly trying to meet the conditions to trigger them. I wanted it to happen organically without looking it up. I just felt like I ran out of things to do and there was no point to keep playing.
At the same time, I want to play it on my Steam Deck because I did enjoy what I did play!
They look so cheap.
