I finally stopped using it entirely when they started paywalling the answers. I don’t know if you had to actually pay or just sign up to view them but whatever it was went too far for me. Nothing of real value was honesty lost from my existence either.

These seem incredibly cheap, like too good to be real cheap.
You could use eBay but that’s usually the option of last resort.
Your local city probably has referb shops that sell them or if you’re keen you can pick them up directly from auction for peanuts.
Every time I’ve had a use for these either a business PC (or ex-business referb for home) has always been a better, cheaper answer.
Unless space is the absolute unchangeable primary concern than the size difference doesn’t matter.
If Lemmy supported images in it’s RSS feeds I’d never leave my client.
Yeah but barely, just look at the releases. It’s all bug fixes as if it’s on maintenance mode.
The comments are interesting and yeah, it’s very much looking like one of those passion projects that’ll never see the light of day at this rate.
I currently use Microsoft Todo, aside from ethical or moral reasons what is a good reason to switch to something like this?
I like Wiki.js but updates seem slow and not all that feature packed either. It’s had placeholders in the admin side of things for what seems like forever.
Personally on a 1440p monitor or better I think middle aligned is better 🤷
I’m hoping one day we’ll have federated account management as part of the Fediverse so that you don’t have to spin up a whole Lemmy instance and can create communities that are attached to that.
This is one of many reasons I tell people not to become overly attached to their Lemmy accounts. You don’t know what or who’s hosting your instance and it could just abruptly disappear overnight.
Once I got a serious response to that from a manager saying that he could go on eBay, buy his own servers and do it himself. My response was to quit.
