Paradox Deputy CEO Mattias Lilja is announcing this just like he was the one to announce the changes to Cities Skylines 2 development.

Apparently he was made Deputy CEO only this year, but has been with Paradox for years. I really wonder: does he get picked to announce these things because no one else wants to take responsibility? Or is he the one stepping in where the rest of the management have let things run out of control?

I use search from within an app, which makes the experience a bit better. The search UI on web is too messy IMO

The apps usually show the full names (including instance name), so I didnt even know this was an issue on lemmy-ui

The term originates from professionals - psychiatrists etc - who work in that field, because they knew even decades ago that “pron” is the wrong word for this kind of material.

For outsourced companies it usually works like this in movie and game credits, yes. You get a section in the credits headed by your company name, then the names of the managers and the project leads. Individual workers for these vfx, sound etc companies are not listed in most cases.

But that’s not how it works for most outsourced vendors. When you look at movie or game credits and you see a sector headed by a company name, it’s because that company was hired to do a certain task. And in that case you mostly only see the leads names listed, not the actual workers.
