Second, armor scaling was radically changed a few months ago. Armor no longer scales infinitely for enemies and is hard capped for all of them at I think 2460? I forget the number.

This is a big enough change that you don’t actually need to 100% armor strip any more. Used to be enemies could have 12,000 armor or more at high level due to infinite scaling, so the diff between 99% strip and 100% was something like 98% damage reduction vs. 0% damage reduction. But this is no longer true.

This is exactly what I do with Death from Above Wisp. Aerodynamic + Aviator and a moa give her about 35 seconds of air time. Match her up with a slam hammer and she’s either invisible or killing everything.

Even more so for Zephyr, though I don’t slam with her.

Even before her rework I pretty much ignored Absorb, or chose that to helminth off. Agreed that mind control still takes too much in order to get a good subject for it—I always use a bullet hose with her, and still, it’s very tricky to just wear down the Overguard on a quality target and make it vulnerable to Mind Control.

I’ve not yet drawn Mag for EDA, unfortunately. And if I did, choosing her would depend on whether there were good projectile weapons among the choices as well.

That said, given even one of the top 20 projectile weapons for Mag, I’m sure she’d be fine.
