  • Kinetic Ricochet on any Tetra does strange things inside a Magentize bubble. The weapon does more damage in the bubble with it on in the same way it does more if you put punch through on the weapon, but it does even more if you put punch through AND Kinetic Ricochet on.

Tenet Tetra with KR and Primed Shred is my all-round go to for synergistic projectiles with Mag. It’s not the most DPS, but it’s the most flexible weapon for her. For super high level the Exergis definitely beats it by a lot, but for almost everything the Tetra is great and more fun.

  • Just goes to show there’s no accounting for taste aside from making a system like Warframe where people can radically mod things to their own.

By which I mean I hated every second I spent farming this void-awful weapon, and never touched it again (or WILL touch it again) after the moment I ranked it to 30.

The stance is SLOOOOOWWW. The movement set is AWFUL. The combination made me feel like Star Wars Kid levels of awkward in missions. And it isn’t even all that good for doing damage.

The single worst payoff in performance for any farm ever for me—and I have EVERY weapon, frame and Archwing. Only lacking all the k-drives. Because screw k-drives.

  • Pillage Nyx is quite good, and pairs nicely with Chaos and range for a CC build. That’s how I run her for things like mobile defense and interception. Nyx absolutely doesn’t need Nourish. She’s not that energy hungry.

Agreed about the joy of using a bullet hose/beam weapon to knock down Overguard then mind control an eximus!

  • This really sounds like you don’t play Nyx ever, or at least not in the last couple of years.

With her 2 augment, she stuns everyone in front of her, and stunned enemies then DIE.

I recall that Nyx’s low usage shot up considerable when Steel Path became available—and that’s because all the things she does are not needed in the normal star chart, but they REALLY are when you’re starting the Path.

Does she need to have strong weapons? Sure. But so what? Plenty of frames without exalteds need strong weapons.

Also the real thing she needs with her 4 augment is either Rift Strike on the Twin Basolk, or the Nira (Amar? I can’t remember) mods that lets her teleport to any enemy she heavy attacks. An invincible armor stripper who teleports all over the map heavy attacking? Such fun.

  • I enjoy keeping Temporal Anchor as a “here’s 20 seconds to spam EVERYTHING” ability. It’s really a combined ammo/energy 100% efficiency power, with a free revive thrown in.

And I haven’t tried the augment yet, but I bet it’s super strong.

Not trying to be mean, but I am trying to be counter to the typical thinking: At least with newer frames, DE is clearly working to make every power important to the frame. Calling Anchor a loss of a power slot is avoiding thinking deeply about how it can work for Protea.

  • I’ve owned a bunch of Foscam cameras, a sub-brand owned by Amcrest.

Amcrest and its Foscam sub-brand seem very interested in getting access to your cameras, have less capable and less convenient software, and the cameras themselves seem less well built than Reolink.

I bought a half a dozen V1 Wyze cams, and at least two of them have failed. I won’t touch that brand again. I also would never have used Wyze at all except for the exploit that allowed custom firmware installation for real local access and control.

  • Don’t have much to say aside from “she’s excellent.”

I’m rarely one to say something in this game is “the best” but her Talons are the single strongest melee in the game.

On my account, Garuda also seems to have an odd, undocumented passive: She shows up as a circuit choice about 4 times as often as other frames. Which is great because the huge maps with great line of sight means her Seeking Talons can wipe huge chunks of the map with a leap in the air.

  • Thought I’d revisit this.

Sadly, no Suda Assault Teams. Instead, Gruzlings.

Lost Floppy Disks: Whatever the Hek it is Tagfer is hoping for in Albrecht’s lab.

Serial to VGA Connectors: Echo Voca.

    Albrecht’s Pen: Endo.

CD-ROM Reader: Invocations and Canticles, particularly that one you don’t have yet.

Screen of Void: So, so many weird bugs. Today in the Alchemy Archimedia, I hosted and *I could not see ANY of the elemental pickups. If I happened to stand on one, I got the Pick Up action option, but I never saw them. Then there was a host migration at extraction, plus crazy frame rate drops for the whole squad.

Sadly, no CyberTool Cable Whip Skin.

We must wait until 1999 to discover why there is cat hair.

  • Doing two things or more at once is great, as Halasham says.

But most importantly, if the grind isn’t fun, don’t do it. If it’s not fun the way you’re doing it, find another way to do it. Back before they moved Harrow Systems, I spent roughly thirty hours getting it to drop in Caracol defection. It wasn’t super fun, but I made it more fun by experimenting with every frame I had to see if that frame could do the job effectively.

So to answer your question: anything that’s fun is worth doing. Because every piece of gear is worth having, and if it’s fun to get, then why not?
