I believe it was this issue that made me think this way
Sure, they are the same people
Gitea also has excellent CI support with builtin compatibility with github
Forgejo is leading the federated git initiative
Only reason is it’s hard to do
Protonmail is a honeypot. Stay away
Still much less bullshit than other providers. It has less dark patterns than OVH. I would also recommend their VPN service for beeing so cheap the first year
Pretty much everything will work better with the system specifically design for that particular hardware. The only reason you might want to remove steamos is if you have high privacy/security concerns
Well it’s designed for the web so it’s better at handling relatively small files. But yeah, it would work
Yes. That’s also how torrents work, and they allow anyone to download any movie in the world. Html files are small, you don’t need to share much
And then you index it on a peer-to-peer search engine
I have had issues though, but their support is helpful
I use Namecheap. It’s nice for spending your sats
This community is on lemmy.world so yes, there would be problems
No use for a game that doesn’t run on Linux
My friends are on Steam and it works fine
I’m glad you ask! I have been working on a peer-to-peer search engine. The goal is to index websites that are on IPFS. It’s an MVP but you can already try the demo and run your node to make your data searchable for the whole network (you would need to generate html files from your data and put it on ipfs first)
Ipv6 doesn’t need NAT
Is it any good? I heard the concept was going nowhere
