A little bit better controls and stuff too, but yeah, the story, characters, unit customization, etc. was all top-notch.

You mean Civilization: Call to Power. The unit was called the Eco Ranger. And they did make a sequel to it, called Call to Power 2. In some ways it was better, some worse. That being said, CTP1 is my favorite civ of all time (not counting SMAC). They should definitely make another sequel if they can keep the stuff that made it great. Kills me that I can’t get a modern working version of the original somewhere.
Every, single, time. 😓
Seeing this post about the sale made me check out the Wikipedia article about the game, since I never knew anything about it either. After reading that I’m pretty much sold on it. For a few dollars it’s worth a try.
Reminds me of the '90s when pizza places started putting an ever increasing number of 'A’s in front of their names just so that they’d be first in the phone book. So you had pages of things like “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Plus Pizza”. I used to just skip those pages.
Just tell all your customers that it’s “for entertainment purposes only.”
Could go even further and play Minetest, which has absolutely no ms bs in it.
Haven’t had much problems with bugs, probably depends which version(s) you’ve tried. As for the rest, maybe I should look for some videos to see for myself. Is there radio on the official one?
Yeah but from what people are saying, it isn’t as good as the mod version. 😢
Still haven’t managed to get myself to do the big update yet because of the metro mod. 😭
A fellow minetest player in the wild!
Kinda reminds me of brexit: “I didn’t think that it’d actually happen!”
I did that too!
But it’s always weird when that happens; it seems like Adam Jensen is voice acting for a live person. I did enjoy watching him play the game though.
“No management, no goals.” Yes!! I want it now!! I bought Cities: Skylines so I could do stuff like this, but the gameplay parts make it frustrating.
Pretty much, yeah, that’s what I want. Character maker?
No, they’ve done a couple of really nice qol updates lately that got rid of most of those, or at least reduced the calls to texts. I mean there’s still some annoyances, but it is better than it was. At least, last time I was there. Only join in maybe once a month or so now.
It’s nothing personal, it’s only business. You understand.
:p
Cool. I didn’t get to try it when it first came out. My first in the series was Jedi Academy, and by then I wasn’t really interested in going back. This should renew my interest I think. Now if we can just get remasters for Deus Ex and VTMB, I’d explode.
I’m sure that he can perceive the depth that the shaft of that valve is drilling into his eye socket when you turn it. That should count for something.
