I loved KSP 1 and I still do I just wanted some improved core engine refinements and really looked towards a new refreshed modding scene plus interstellar travel was an awesome idea for KSP (i know there were some mods) its funny cause I rarely actually went to space i liked building crazy planes. I learned to dock and went to mun/minmus a couple times but never actually made it to other planets without spawning myself there. I just enjoyed the game my way sorta. Plus more fluid multiplayer was something I really wanted to get into
I bought KSP 2 in its rough state cause I had hope that it would turn out good and cause I put so many many hours into the OG KSP but once again big publishers trample it with muddy shoes. I honestly feel like a big publisher cant release anything that doesent absolutely fuck the player since Cyberpunk. Almost all of my game purchased since that game have been indie games and its been easy not to look back
Its a fun and engaging game that im sure will have more fleshed out as development continues. I wouldn’t call it gimmicky at all. Some people play for a bit then stop either waiting for updates, to play another game (lots of good games came out around its release) or for literally any other reason in my case i broke my hand.
7 days to die has been making progress though .I remember picking it up and thinking I made a huge mistake then I played it a couple years later and loved it
Should just be able to disconnect the screen and leave it attached to the front part of the shell. If i recall correctly
Ive done a full shell swap it was tedious and took me like 6 hours being careful the screen is definitely one of the hardest parts followed by the trackpads. An ifixit kit comes in handy but you must take your time with it and use heat. You may just want to consider getting a screen upgrade and dropping that in cause everything goes back together wayyy easier
Ah thank you very much for that. I see now :)
Can you please clarify what you mean? I think I get the gist but may be misunderstanding.
Thats not actually a bad way to have a vpn set up though?
Server owners can be just as malicious many games support private servers
Thats not a bad idea especially because there is a risk of damaging the screen when taking it apart
I gave it a good look and you’re right im not finding a replacement for that part anywhere. I reckon next best option is scavenge it from a broken deck or send it to valve for repair at cost
Its a fun project to do on a slow weekend! You may be able to find someone to do it for you as well.
I did think about doing that but I didnt think it would look too good. The company I got it from has button replacements and im thinking of going with a solid light green or “matcha” green
there were very few that needed to be the used from the kit I reckon for tolerance reasons. (plus despite my best efforts, the void had to be fed)
you joke but there are A LOT of screws. Minimal glue!
Honestly it was a lot of fun though I really enjoyed every moment of it. The fact that there are replacement parts available takes a lot of the real stress away from it for me
I havent done many shell swaps but ive torn down my fair share of electronics I have to say the screen is the hardest part on this everything else was pretty straight forward unscrew and unplug ribbon cables (and remember to actually put them back…) im doing some controller shell swaps real soon here though so thatll get me a little understanding on where the SD stands. It did take me 5 hours but I was being quite careful and taking my time id be fairly confident in taking it apart again and I plan to swap in some hall effect sticks or maybe mess with the triggers a little
Im spent a good bit of money in the game for better or for worse I think this is the way it should be tried Dont spend the money on the ships. Buy a basic package and purchase ships with in game money.
