Is liftoff in the play store? I can’t find it.
I was using Jerboa but I’ve been having problems with it over the last few days and was getting annoyed. I saw this morning that there was another app, Connect for Lemmy. I’ve deleted Jerboa now because the connect ui is much nicer and hasn’t been crashing so far.
There’s definitely not an age cut off. In 60 years there’s going to be 80 year olds teabagging people in VR Halo Bloodgulch.
Yeah I’ve always hated the idea of using Discord as a forum space. The only thing it’s been useful to me for has been playing video games with friends and coordinating shit as a group. I’ve tried joining some of the channels related to my hobbies and it’s just a massive pain in the ass to use in that capacity.
I’ve been saying for a couple of years now that I think within the next decade there’s going to be a resurgence in “dumb phones.” And other methods of disconnecting from the web as people start to get fatigued from being connected to everything constantly.
We go through phases. The game we will always return to when there’s a new one is Monster Hunter, but we’ve played other games sporadically over the years. Most recently has been path of exile, which I normally get bored of relatively quickly but it’s much more fun with friends.
Anyone have any good suggestions for blogs to follow? I just downloaded inoreader and followed some of the suggested ones on there, but I used RSS so long ago I don’t remember anything I used to really follow outside of my current interests.
The most aggressive free speech advocates I know are also some of the most horrible human beings I’ve ever met. They believe horrible shit. They want free speech because they know what they say is horrible, and want to be able to continue to say it with no real consequences other than being socially ostracized.
Omg I just checked out wefwef. I hope they release a downloadable app soon. The UI is fantastic.
