Don’t you still need to use the Steam client to install those games? I’ve never seen an option on the website to download the game files directly like GOG does.
Well, at least they’re not forcing you to install and run the Epic Games Store on top of Steam. Not like, say, fucking Star Wars Squadrons forcing Origin.
If they tell you the game in the title you have no incentive to click.
The best part of this is that Rayman gets roasted in Sparks of Hope.
It’s a self-reinforcing cycle, unfortunately. GOG doesn’t have the market share that Steam does, so publishers don’t release games on it, which leads to people continuing to use Steam and maintaining its dominant market share.
