The problem is that nvidia’s drivers are shit but we couldn’t do anything because for the longest time, for nvidia cards to work at a decent speed, it requires the drivers to be signed by nvidia.
We couldn’t do anything and you are blaming us for that.
Now that this, AFAIK, has been lifted new things like NVK are emerging.
The problem has been reluctance abd uncooperativeness from nvidia, not the linux community
If this feel like the psvita buttons I would love it
Get a physical copy that doesn’t require internet activation then
I cannot speak about movies. But physical games now are also just “usage licenses”, they are encrypted and if the console is connected to the internet at any momento, your rights to play the game may be revoked (just like digital games or, in this case, digital TV series)
I think you can disable it
You can go to the developer settings and use the old frame limiter so you can set the refresh rate and frame limiter settings separately to work around the issue, i think
If the screen updates 75 times the game doesn’t have to wait so long between vblanks so new frames are delivered quicker and input latency is reduced
Why does a madden game need anticheat though
It’s a know bug on 3.5. You can rever to 3.4.11 by shutting down the system and pressing “…” and power together, then select the B partition
Maybe. I usually update my flatpaks through Discover.
Though it looks like the problem is that it can’t write to /tmp. Try using chmod a+wr /tmp
and trying to flatpak update -y again
Have you tried with --user ?
Yeah, and that’s probably why development for 3.5 has also been this slow. They were busy with the OLED model
I would never agree with what Google proposes, though
That’s the joke
I don’t know, no core was maxed out and this was on the steam deck btw
Yeah, I managed to fix the sound thing and you can see that there’s some very unfinished implementation for controller support (I used the WASD + Mouse preset for deck) but when I pressed B button the buy menu appeared even though the B button is not bound to the B key, also when I opened the menu the deck keyboard opened.
I saw that the gpu was not being taxed nor the cpu, it seems there’s some bug or something that doesn’t help it achieve it’s potential perfomance
Yes, it’s a very rushed release on linux
At first it made sense because it gave you more detail but I think 1080p or 1440p is the perfect resolution for consuming media from a monitor or television.
For VR headsets I think it makes more sense because you need more pixel density
A few months ago I remember they hired a contractor for arm development, I think they were a member from the Asahi Linux project
Oh god, I’m so excited!
Apex Legends’ Anti cheat supports the Steam Deck but The Finals’ devs are still working to support the steam deck on their anticheat so you’ll have to wait to play that game or play it on console
