This simply will go nowhere, or do you expect that the court will somehow separate Activision out of Microsofts hands again to fix this? Or punish the managers at Microsoft and make them withdraw the execution plan to remove redundant jobs?
At the end of it, Microsoft will eventually pay a small, symbolic sum which they consider “cost of conducting business”. Nothing more.

There is an easily hackable and cheap device from IKEA by the name of “VINDRIKTNING”. There are YT videos on how to wifi-enable that thing and integrate it into home automation services.
Nope. It already was WASD around 1980, when I got my first computer. It even had the arrows printed on the keycaps to be used with the CTRL key, as it didn’t have a numpad or cursor pad at all. You had to use WASD to move around.
In the EU, they would tar & feather the automakers for even thinking about such an idea.
If you don’t care for the looks, just put it down where needed, and fix it to whatever is around with cable ties.
I did the same in my daughters shared accommodation. Officially they had wifi in all the student rooms, but my daughters room basically had no reception, so I ran a cable from the other end of the flat where the router was down the staircase into her room for a local AP. When she moved out, it was a quick job with a pair of pliers to get it out again.
If you have a fitness tracker - no problems with that. Needs a recharge after two or three weeks, which is not perfect, but still better than those “smart” watches that you have to feed daily.
Personally I have a Garmin Fenix for the 3 week battery life
Now that is a totally different beast than an Apple watch that has to be recharged daily.

It had been from day one, just in case no-one noticed.
The very idea of a “watch” that has a bunch of gimmics while completely fail the main job of providing the time over a long time without any hassle shows how absurd this product was from the very beginning.
A good automatic, mechanical watch is way superior on that behalf. As a bonus, it looks better. And you don’t have to press a button to actually see the time.

First of all, consider how many hours of use you usually get out of such a AAA title, and you will see that it’s actually quite cheap entertainment. And second, there are good games (to waste countless hours on) that are way cheaper.
Well, if you think your game prices are too low, just raise them. The market will regulate this all on it’s own.
Got a bunch of RPIs, some of them retired.
One of the active ones runs a MediaWiki engine (if it detects my home wifi on startup, it acts as a mirror slave to the master installation on the server, if not, it opens a wifi with my home wifi’s credentials and offers the wiki as read-only).
Another one runs a DB that controls a number of ESP8266 clients controlling lights, motors, and sensors.

Apart from that, what I’ve seen on some YT videos is impressive - When they populate a planet, they really mean it.
They can only hope that some of them are not smart enough to understand this “Twitter is now X” stuff and get confused. Or misunderstand it as some kind of “democrat plot” against their “freedumb”.
I use “radicale” as calendar server for the family. Thunderbird can talk to it directly, on Androidd, I use DAVX5 to sync them.
I run several instances of mediawiki. Sometimes I curse the programmers for being jockeys (next to no usable documentation, every update breaks something), but at the end of the day it’s easy and works.
