I always hear people shitting on Bethesda and praising mods, but I played the fallout and elder scrolls games years ago and absolutely loved them so it’s always confusing to me. The comments in one of the cross post threads, at least earlier, were all shitting on fallout.

Exactly. As a developer, the complexity of that engine blows me away. It’s a miracle they got as solid as they did honestly. If these critics are developers, they’re either lacking in empathy or they’re the kind of prodigy who cannot even comprehend the inability to think about such insanely complex systems with ease

From experience I know I’ll be downvoted but it is a pretty goddamned impressive engine. And yes that is even considering that Skyrim was buggy, what, 12 years ago?

I’m aware that people think that, but for many people like myself, there is no possibility of mods making a game infinitely entertaining. At some point games in general got boring for me. I have to take breaks and find unique games to keep my interest as it stands.

How would anyone expect any game to be infinitely entertaining?

That is what I do. I have owned like 4 kvm switches. Even when I paid extra to get a “good” one they never lasted more than like a year or two. My USB switch has been going for about 3 years. Occasionally it glitches out and I have to unplug it from everything but it’s only about every 3-5 months
