Keep Driving has had a lot of my free time. Semi emergent narrative, with rogue lite elements and semi Oregon Trail elements. Amazing soundtrack, great art. Just all around fun game.

Atomfall is compared to STALKER in the article refernced in the first paragraph. This article is just stating the author disagrees with his coworkers original assessment
Not that I don’t think Doom isn’t a good answer, mind you. There is a reason “Can you run Doom on that” is a thing
Oh cool, did not even know about Monster Maze or Catacomb 3d. I’ll have to check them out. Monster Maze looks more survival than shooter, bit still in that vein for sure.
Wolfenstein 3d can out the year before and I believe was the first. Still id Software, just slightly predates Doom
Your colony looks a lot like how I do mine. Only difference is I really don’t do animals, and only do barracks in the beginning
Exactly. All they have is nostalgia to sell. That is all most of these big corpos have anymore.
Good they rolled it back. Feels a bit like go for what you want and see how folks react, then have a plan for rolling it back.
I’m not too concerned with that. If I don’t like the best in the series, then I probably won’t like any of them, but I am OK with that. A lot of folks are saying HeartGold/SoulSilver as better starting points, so I went with that. Got it emulated, so no real loss for me if I don’t like it.
I played the Beastieball demo, and it is a ton of fun. The combat is tactical volleyball, and is pretty satisfying to play.
Awesome, thank you!
Oh nice. Someone else suggested X/Y. Do you think HeartGold/SoulSilver are a better starting spot or about the same? I only ask since it X/Y is a little newer, so might have QoL improvements
I have never played a pokemon game (except Go). I don’t have nostalgia for pokemon, but I would like to play. I am down to start at any point (I can probably emulate for any platform I don’t own). Where would folks recommend I start?
Only into bottles, though.
You have the original commenter confused. millie just said if you were spamming patch notes, you’d get a block
That is a much more reasonable take, for sure. I would do the same, and probably go one step further and ask mods to step in.
In this case I don’t think OP is spamming patch notes, they just found this on interesting.
lol, what? This is a general gaming community. Also, that implies people can only post about games you are playing, which is such a wild take
I dunno if you read the response, but Linus was a fucking fool for asking for receipts. He looks like your MAGA uncle asking you to prove vaccines aren’t harmful
It might just be that Taash isn’t the companion for you. I did not find them unlikable, just incredibly direct.
Dunno where you saw that, steamdb (https://steamdb.info/app/1845910/) has it listed on 38.99€ at a 35% discount, which is horrendous for a not even 2 month old release.
I found an article from about 3 or 4 weeks after release, so clearly the price dripped a couple times. And agreed, it is a bad sign for sales
That was well worth the long read. I especially appreciate the rules of engagement including not going after identities, but techniques. So many “scam busters” tend to target individuals under the guise of getting to the larger organization. That has always weirded me out since it ignores the fact that a lot of those front line scammers are probably just desperate for work and are not the main beneficiaries of these scams.
