Really hoped it would come to game pass, or if not, support Play Anywhere.
I think they did well tbh. They of course hoped they would be able to resolve it before release, so it shouldn’t be the focus on reviewers.
At least reviewers made it clear that there still was something to be said about performance, but it would have to wait.
And Colossus then made a clear statement on performance themselves up front of the launch date.
No, there was a performance embargo for reviewers that wasn’t lifted until after the developers had made their statement a few days ago.
There are some great designs ready for redesign of Finamp to make it much more modern, but development is fairly slow with limited resources. I think it’s currently in closed testing though.
Alas, for me I’ve only seen that being helpful in fairly open spaces. No help at all this deep underground.
I had to drop all my loot on the ground so I could run around for a while and make sense on the place and learn the way out, then come back for the loot.
Meh I’m stuck in some underground complex I can’t find the way out of and I’m on like 340 of 140 weight so I cannot use fast travel and I REFUSE TO LET GO OF MY LOOT!
I like the game a lot. However, the lack of maps and help in navigation gives absolutely no pleasure.
Is there any other real benefits except early access?
AMD and Nvidia are basically on par for now, especially so for RTX 4090 vs 7900XTX.
These are day-1 results and must be expected to change significantly through the next six months of driver and game updates.
Upscaling was not tested.
Not an answer to OP; I use iCloud, but I still want my own, external backup of that and have found some good solutions.
I previously used icloudpd which I run from docker and that synced all files to a NAS from where I took backups. It works great and I highly recommended.
However, I recently turned on Advanced Data Protection on iCloud, which disables the API icloudpd relied upon, so now I’m using osxphotos instead. It works just as good.
You’ll have to turn on downloading all originals to your Mac for this to work. Personally I had to buy an external disk and move the photo library on my Mac mini server to it to have enough storage.
And don’t care about privacy / believes that Plex will not be hacked one more time.
But that’s literally what you do, you build a starter factory to help you build a mid tier research factory which can then help you build a proper factory that can support megascale production
