Ha!
Just in case it makes you feel any better: I’m a native English speaker who always aced the reading comprehension tests back in school, and I read it the exact same way. Lol! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. :)
Yikes! Thanks for sharing this, OP.
I’m not even 16, why do I feel ancient
I don’t know if this will help you, but I think that’s pretty normal. I felt similarly at your age in some ways and in other ways I felt like a baby, depending on how I looked at things. I still feel that way and I’m twice your age! It’s weird. Growing up is weird. I feel for you. 💖
That cute little mascot is just gosh darn precious!
Hell yeah! This comment is spot-on and it totally rocks and so do you.
Oh my goodness, I’m listening to a cover of Lola by The Kinks (that repeatedly says “La la la lo-Lola,” in case you’re not familiar with it) when I saw your comment and username! What a neat coincidence.
Is your username choice a reference to that song, by any chance?
Try not to suck any dick on the way to the parking lot!
I don’t know if it’s still a thing, or how well it would work for your usages, but I used to use an Android emulator application on Windows called BlueStacks. Might be something to look into. I hope you find something that works well for you!
A lot of ActivityPub software that federates with Lemmy does that tag thing automatically; like Mastodon, for example.
I had no idea that there were Pokémon fan games! The possibility never even crossed my mind, for whatever reason. How cool! Good luck with Keishou!
I honestly agree that it seems silly and kind of detracts from your comments to add that to all of them, and may seem spammy to some people, but I also am pretty sure I get where you’re coming from and kind of admire that you’re sticking to it and not giving a fuck that some people think it’s dumb or whatever. That’s pretty cool.
And, really, it’s not like you’re hurting anyone by adding that link to your comments. Who cares? Do yo thang, buddy. :)
Ours does the exact same. Sometimes they even put an obfuscated link to a tweet that was very quickly deleted, so you just get an error and there’s no info unless you both log in and go searching their twitter for whatever tweet they may actually still have that has info. It’s pretty ridiculous.
I‘m very sick atm and only took the time to troubleshoot because I wanted to doomscroll on the couch in peace. :) I‘ll raise the issues when I‘m feeling a little better. Otherwise the bug description will be incomprehendable.
Ugh, I feel for you! I hope you get to feeling better soon!
Ooh, yay!! I’m excited for you! I hope you love them! I’d be interested in hearing how they are and how they compare to your memory of the original Altoids kind, if you happen think of it once you’ve tried them.
Also, totally agreed about it being a cool project by that candy store! They’ve got lots of cool projects where they remake old candies. Sometimes they track down the old/original equipment and everything. It is super neat!!
Damn. Thank you for sharing this here, Alyaza!
