I’m honestly not sure if 2 hours is enough. The prologue is very long, and features only one actual fight, which is not sufficient to get a good feel for the extremely crucial dodge/party mechanics.

Exactly. The price needs to be roughly on par with consoles. A bit higher due to massively the reduced cost of games on PC, maybe.
I’d reckon anything above $700€ makes this whole thing dead in the water.
I loved the grammar differences between the languages. Like where the negation glyphs go, or pluralisation. It always made me happy when I struggled with the translations, and then renumbered stuff like “Bards place the subject before the verb!”

It should support both. On the instance side to limit a region/country matching the instance, then client side to set your actual reachable area.

The Dig is a must play for point and click fans. Great story and atmosphere, good puzzle design.

Alternatively, the regular Link to the past randomiser has a entrance randomiser setting that is logic safe iirc.
Or you can try any of the other settings the tool offers.

Playing a Malkavian was by far the most fun way to play VtM: Bloodlines. Not sure how I feel about this.

I think it’s too early to pick sides here.
According to Krafton’s statement (see the other comment), those 3 didn’t do jack shit regarding the development of Subnautica 2 (I.e. what Krafton promised them 90% of those up to $250M for).
I know the word of the publisher doesn’t count, but unless Krafton fucked up themselves, they should have the paper trail to prove their claims, too.

That’s a fine take. If you realize you’re not having fun, there’s no shame in stopping. For me, the dopamine rush of finally killing a boss after several attempts is worth it. Although the number of attempts I’m willing to put in is quite limited (~15), and I have quit several games after hitting a road block.

Geotastic is another great alternative that is funded by donations and ads (which you can remove by donating once)
True, but adding a light switch still doesn’t prevent their roommate from opening their app and turning on their lights.

This site not only shows you historical data on steam, but on 3rd party sites and other launchers as well (fully configurable). And it’ll send you a mail is any game in your wait list meets any of the criteria you set (e.g. under $10, lowest historical price, etc.)

Steam is partially funded by underage gambling. They know about this. They could literally shut it down within hours.
They’re better than most, but that is a major moral failure they don’t get nearly enough flak for.

Nah, let them file all they want, so long as they pay for them. If they’re bogus patents, they’re rejected and it’s basically just a money transfer to the patent office employees.
F is for Fisticuffs

I will argue that Witcher 3 did not have enough content for it’s own world. Don’t get me wrong, the content was great, but there’s large swathes of emptiness inbetween. The devs tried to fill it with map markers that got repetitive very quickly (hello, random floating barrels).
IMO, downscaling the world to 75% size and reducing the amount of non-quest content would have made the game better.

This is the exact reason why Steam had a separate “recent reviews” statistic. A well-reviewed game with negative recent reviews is a good indicator that something broke (three exact reason should be spelled out in the reviews).
The only issue is that such reviews are not “self-cleaning” once the issue gets fixed, and not every negative reviewer will remove or correct their review manually.

I don’t have HVAC, so I’m just using it to see when the air at my desk is getting stale so I remember to open the window. I mostly use homeassistant for the configuration, although I might also set up a notification at some point (I only got my sensor 2 days ago)

Very nice.
It’s missing CO2, but those are expensive so that’s understandable. If you need one of those, I think https://www.airgradient.com/ is a great choice.
It’s really fun with friends. Constant yelling at who the tell tipped over the gore bucket, or whose bloody footprints cross the freshly cleaned hallway.
