Wow, I remember playing this on newgrounds back in the day.
That all sounds good, thank you for writing it up!
Also worth noting that AFAIK it’s not Barone himself making these releases - it’s a third party company he engaged to do the ports. He doesn’t do the work himself.
Thanks, chum.
Is it recommended to start anywhere in particular on these games? They look like wacky fun. Kinds of Saint’s Row-adjacent?
That’s a great idea. YouTube doesn’t have RSS feeds, does it?
I got excited hoping this was set in John DeChancie’s Skyway book series, oh well.
In those books, the trucks don’t fly, they follow an ancient road across planets through Stargates basically. The series goes into the origin of the road and follows the trouble chasing the MC and his passengers.
Looks like book 1 is on Archive. https://archive.org/details/starrigger0000dech
I’ve played many hours of Ship Graveyard Simulator, and I’m not sure why. It’s not actually fun.
It’s the worst of the mainline games story-wise, for sure. The mechanics are fine.
Maybe they have a GTFS-Real Time feed? It’s a fast-growing standard for worldwide transit agencies.
It’s on sale for $16 at the moment.
I see it at $16 on sale at GOG at the moment, but that might depend on your region.
They are buying space money with real money, and the space money goes to other player who make and sell the ships.
Noted, thank you.
That sounds like my jam, thanks. Assuming I can get it working on Linux
I’ve never played this. How does it hold up? I don’t care about graphics, I’m a patient gamer.
That looks fun as heck, and I wasn’t a particular MMPR fan growing up.
Was that the game with the huge map of the U.S. ? I saw a video about that game being killed and was sorry I missed it.
It’s free on google play pass, if you have that. I don’t know if android is the best way to play it, but it was free. shrug
