6 months agoOne of my all time favorite games. The only thing that would have made it better for me is a time-based story a la Dead Rising. Though that would have probably made the game even less successful than it was.

My take is that pretty much everything should start out as a monolith and evolve organically from there. You will know if/when you need a separate service.
