If it isn’t protecting you from popups in 2024 then it needs work.
Yeah most people won’t pay that for a handheld.
I’m on mobile as well and Firefox Nightly blocks all the ads and popups on PCGamer.
I had a hard time with Stardew at first, but I realized that you don’t have to eat to survive, crops are just for profit, gifts, ingredients, and collections. That got me out of the survival game mentality. I also learned to relax about the daily time cycle. Once I got automatic sprinklers working that was a lot easier.
No offense intended, but what are you doing browsing in 2024 without uBlock Origin?
How much did it cost to compile the report about the cost of mass layoffs?
It’s making the offline work better for Steam Deck, but not GTA online. That should ensure some ongoing Steam Deck owner purchases of GTA V, but Rockstar still won’t be getting that sweet ongoing Shark Card income from Steam Deck players.
Same with Star Wars Outlaws, maybe hating the game gets them more clicks. And then a year from now they can make videos talking about how Outlaws is great now and was underappreciated on launch.
X4 Foundations. I have probably 500 hours in it and still don’t know what it really means. But it’s a unique and interesting game.
I’d rather MS buy them than Tencent and/or Epic. But it’s not a lot better.
Problem: There are 2 broken visions for the world.
Sweeney: “That’s ridiculous, I will fix that with my vision of the world that makes me even more money!”
Result: There are 3 broken visions for the world.
Good, let’s bring back shame for non-competitive behavior.
It is a good game IMO, but they will have completely missed the hype train by November.
Holy shit, the game developers did not know their market, at all. Yes there are a lot of gamers that could stand to diversify their thinking but you don’t spend $400 million dollars and just hope the players will suddenly become tolerant.
All they need to do is bigger better Skyrim with different story. Keep all the lore, sidewuests, NPCs having their own lives, and beautiful map. Don’t dumb down the gameplay systems, make them accessible and/or configurable if you want but don’t dumb them down.
Bosses said use AI so we use AI.
Definitely, but it’s getting better. Also games are free or cheap on PC, and no monthly fee for multiplayer.
I thought I was playing Star Wars but there is Spock.
Give the people what they want. Solid business strategy.
