I just heard about this game for the first time in the last week. It looks like if I want to play it I’ll have to buy this guy’s patreon to download and emulate it on my PC?
Holy shit what a mensch, ty! The machines in my building are the easy kind too, no lock picking required!
My apartment building also converted their coin machines to CSC Go, so I’ve been biding my time until he reveals this exploit. They’re $2.50 per wash cycle and $2.25 per dryer cycle, but if you do a big load it won’t get fully dried so you might need an extra cycle. It’s basically highway robbery even considering the water and electricity usage.
Totally. The OG Xbox one was released November 2013, so this is only 11 years later. While 11 years may seem like a long time, of course we can still play games on pretty much any console that came before it so long as they are still in working order. Especially annoying considering an Xbox is very similar to a PC.
I’ve wanted to replay Oblivion for ~12 years, but originally held off once I heard that Skyblivion was in the works. Should I just stop waiting and play modded Oblivion? Are there enough QoL, hires texture, and other mods to get close enough?
FWIW I have no issues with my dbrand skin on my Steam Deck OLED. Though I spent hours to get a near perfect application and I repasted its APU with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.
Awesome! Will try loading Reshadeck on my SD OLED later!
I bought Vampire Survivors two weeks ago and I have almost 40 hours, all on Steam Deck. It’s the most fun I’ve had gaming in a long time. Simple gameplay loop with constant action and so many possible permutations of characters, stages, and power ups! I have ~ 2/3 of the unlocks and achievements so far.
I really wanted to get a steam deck when they first came out, but I decided not to bc I wasn’t gaming much at the time. Then I got a SD OLED right when they came out, and I’ve been playing it pretty much every day since then. I love playing retro games and emulating on it since its OLED screen is amazing, and I also do Steam Remote Play to it from my gaming PC and Chiaki to remote play from my PS5. Like another poster said, the Steam Deck has also been a game changer for getting me playing older games from my backlog. It’s perfect for playing games on the couch while watching TV or a movie as well.
I’m following Bazzite’s development closely because I feel like that’ll be the saving grace for all the gaming handhelds that are windows-only at the moment. If Bazzite matches or supplants SteamOS then I might consider a device like an ROG Ally.
Nice - are you playing with Mods?
Thanks! My samsung S21’s camera really struggles to focus on anything remotely close to its lens, even if I manually adjust it in Pro mode. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks! I am super stoked with how it turned out. It took me about 4 hours, but a decent chunk of that was me using a utility knife cracking open the one touchpad for which I was trying to swap its cover before I realized it wasn’t compatible. I suppose I could’ve swapped their covers and adhered the replacements to the metal brackets, but I also could not get the touchpad daughterboards out of the housing (they are likely adhered to the other piece too).
These are the resources I referenced while working on it:
Playing through Tunic for the first time - loving it so far!
Just ordered these on Amazon - will try installing them in my OLED when they arrive this week
Agree. I’ve had one MSI motherboard and it didn’t last long. I’ve had two ASUS motherboards and neither ever had any problems. Ofc I wouldn’t buy another now that this story came out though
Yeah this is maybe his best video yet!
Respectfully disagree when it comes to this video! I wouldn’t have fully appreciated the innovations he presents ~80-minutes in without the preceding historical context!
Thanks, that’s what I was wondering
