You can buy most parts including the battery from ifixit. They have a partnership with Valve for parts. Also they have instructions on how to fix the part.

I haven’t tried it, but onlyoffice docspace looks like an option. It’ has hosted and self hosted options.

Edit: onlyoffice workspace might be a better fit if the company has the funds.
"No one is against the idea of video game preservation, but companies and their shareholders are against the idea of not making a profit,”
That is an enlightening take.
I think they are still maintaining both versions, at least for now.
It’s not just good, it’s great!
Why money launder when you can just spend that sweet subscriber cash.
Don’t forget they have their own gaming overlay(win+G while in game)
I personally liked the Damnation game. Bought it when it came out on PS3 and own it on steam.
Microsofts problem is they never follow through. They launched it for consumers and did absolutely nothing with it. Didn’t make any games, or applications for consumers at all. If you build it they will come doesn’t work when you don’t have a vision.
It’s going to be interesting when they finally kill all their AI integrations in windows. Microsoft similar to Google likes to build things and if it’s not an immediate success they kill it as fast as the can. Even faster than Google does.
A pattern you will see with Microsoft is they will build something, let it languish, build the next version, let it languish and then kill it. They are hella slow to react to markets or update their products, especially hardware.
If the other handhelds didn’t run windows they would be so much better.
Yet Steam exists. If I was Microsoft I would be trying to improve the handheld experience on Windows. Launchers, games, and the os absolutely are not integrated and fight each other.
Didn’t account for the initial interest peak.
While true, the case in this article is that the game developers are fixing the broken save file for the player so they can load it and play it. Not just reporting the game is making bugged saves. Most game devs do not do this. Some do but the vast majority do not.
Fix buggy saveing/save systems yes. Fix personal buggy saves files to a working state for a particular player? No.
This post title makes it sound like Uematsu Nobuo is just some guy. 😕
That’s unfortunate. It looks like Zotac is releasing a handheld that looks super similar to the steam deck. https://www.zotac.com/us/page/zotac-gaming-zone-portable-handheld
With all the Xbox game pass advertising it looks like it runs windows. Hopefully one of the handheld Linux distros will work on it.
Sounds like Valve might need to market the Steam deck harder in Japan. Show that it can be used portably like a PSP/DS and that it can be used as a console with a screen and controller.
Embracer should divest the studios so they can do their own things.

Overtime the the electrons in and flash dissipates if not powered.
The amount of time it takes varies.
