Kodi has the IR stuff built in from what I remember. At least on windows it did years ago. You just need a “media remote” at one point called windows media remote. It’s a usb or receiver with a regular IR remote.

What are you talking about!!! Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield are all really fun games and absolutely totally unique. When a sequel comes out its multiplayer is amazing right away and all the best playlists are there with tons of maps right away! I never have to ask “why didn’t they include the playlist or mode from the last one that everyone loved” just to wait a year for some DLC that is the exact thing from the prior game.

Halo specifically even gets the community involved by letting them make maps and then using those maps to deliver new experiences for players. They never reuse parts of maps in other maps that could be seen as lazy or obvious.

Not sure where you are at but a new faceplate is like $2 max. You can get one that is double outlet one big box and one tiny slot for the switch it you want. You can also opt to replace the other switch as well with a sea saw switch that is in a box shape as well for like $5.
There are options.
Way back I had replaced some of mine with Wemos before they went cloud based. I did exactly this, replaced the faceplate for like $1.50 and was set.

Yeah. Take a good look at plex as the server and Plexamp as the client. You can filter the music in an almost infinite way. Even by mood. Not saying it’s perfect but it’s the best self hosted way I have found.
It’s not. In fact you know how this kind of patent gets invalidated, by pointing out what’s know as prior art. Things that did “this” before that patent was filed. So Palworlds and any other game that involves capturing a creature. This “killer patent” won’t stand up in Court unless the Japanese Court is entirely different than the US and German Courts.
