Yeah I just found it. I’ll skim through it but your description seems to be the same as everyone else’s.
Sorry about that.

Awesome. What leak are we talking about? I’m out of the loop, it seems.
I don’t even get a stable 30fps playing BG3, so I am kind of pessimistic that Starfield will run on the deck. I hope so, but I’ll play it on the Xbox if I have to.
I’m in a similar situation. I want to see how (if?) it runs on a steam deck before I decide where to buy it. Otherwise I’d have already pre-ordered it.
Apparently I didn’t dig deep enough! Thanks a lot for the heads up.
Seems neat. I wish there were a way to add custom fields; I would totally use this to keep track of my liquor cabinet contents. (I use a spreadsheet for this now.)
I know it’s not the general use case this though, but that didn’t keep me from getting my hopes up haha.
That cable is rated properly for your use, though the one from your OP is also properly rated, and very broadly the stuff you get from Amazon from a reputable brand is going to be fine. The dock is probably fine, as well.
The monitor shouldn’t affect anything regarding charging, as long as you pay attention to the ports you use, as detailed in my other comment.
What he means is that these multi-device chargers can’t supply the power they say to everything all at once. Additionally, many of them have specific ports that supply different wattages when more than one port is used, and some even have ports that just don’t supply as much power as others.
Yours specifically has these quirks, as you can see here. So ensure you’re always using the port farthest away from the USB-A connector when charging your steam deck.
They’re talking about adding DLSS 3. Saved you the click.
This isn’t so complicated as you are making it. You didn’t write the comment in stone-- now that you have been informed, remove any links to the instance.
And not for nothing, it takes 30 seconds to see that the most prolific user in that health community is the admin of the entire server, and maybe about 30 seconds to find a post where they complain about “globalists”. A little due diligence wouldn’t have hurt.
I’m sort of in the same thought process, especially since they were asked and they gave a “we’ll discuss that later” style response. I have an Xbox for my kids and I pay for whichever version of gamepass that lets you stream games, so push comes to shove I can do that.
