I’m more interested in the fail2ban setup. How did you do that for Jellyfin? Is it through a plugin?

I use Tailscale right now. Which, in fairness, I didn’t state in the post. However, I was hoping to share it more similarly to how I used to with Plex. But, it would appear, I would have to share it through Tailscale only at this point.

Clients are built to speak directly to the Jellyfin API. if you put an auth service in front it won’t even ask you to try and authenticate with that.

Trying to figure out how to get my qBittorrent docker container to route all traffic through my VPS through wireguard. The catch is that the webui needs to be accessible through LAN.

I have tried probably over a hundred and never had that happen once. I hear you. But, there is only one version now and if your compose file doesn’t work it’s just incorrect.

Huh? They officially support it and there is no need for a version any more. It’s standardised. As a matter of fact, if you try to start a compose stack that starts with a version number it gives you a warning that it’s not needed.

It’s not just audio. I have an nvidia shield plugged directly into the receiver and it passes the video to the TV and handles the audio. The Steam Deck doesn’t do anything on the receiver. Even when I try using the same HDMI port and cable.

Plugging the Steam Deck dock directly into the TV is fine, however.

Mine is a jsaux dock too… My receiver is denon iirc.
