+1 for bookwyrm
i use https://lycheeorg.github.io/ for sharing my photos with clients these days.
dude … why would you confuse me like this by posting such an old release – even if the latest – i assumed i missed something and wondering why docker didnt pull the new image^^
I suppose Notesnook and StandardNotes come closest to these requirements. Also interesting: AnyType.
thats what i meant – is there an alternative option?
if only photosync would work properly in the background on ios … i thought it is supposed to but it just doesnt do the thing by itself. sometimes i get a notification about 0/5xx photos being synced. hm. i know its more like ios sabotaging the software here, yet still it prevents me from using it more :/
youtube alternative that federates/can be selfhosted like lemmy
Since you are already hanging out here, why not give Mastodon a fair try :)
lucky you, i had nothing but problems… maybe different usage pattern
nextcloud can become very frustrating with such apps due to file conflicts.
There are many people enjoying Trillium, but considering the Obsidian sync concern i’d like to point out two more alternatives: SiYuan and Anytype. :)
vikunja, plane, taiga, focalboard, wekan, restyaboard, planka
integrated in: openproject, anytype, cryptpad, nextcloud, php version of owncloud
Ah great, i was almost giving up on such a thing happening (the other devs doing great work tho of course)
i see that you can fav boards but can you have a sort of favorites list overview that shows all favs for all boards? because thats what made me go to vikunja, but there are many little things that prevent me from joy using it…
I usually just use Restic (not just for servers), for big databases i pipe pg_dump directly into it, and for even bigger ones, i recently moved to pgBackRest.
I ping to a selfhosted Healthchecks instance to see if my backups still run. (or the other way around)
On my main desktop (which recently became a mac, i am sorry) – i currently use Autorestic for multiple locations… its nice to have that yaml, but – well – i am used to bashscripts anyway so it is not that big of a benefit i guess… .
Well i kinda did that when i started selfhosting way too much a number of years ago… it can be quite annoying trying to get your server out of blocklists (if you need to change servers, because of ip reusing from hosters) and unless you use something like Servercow, it is easy to break things and it kinda hard to find proper tooling for selfservice and stuff… nowadays i mostly keep it like it is because i don’t want to deal with trying to migrate people to a different setup. It’s okey and most of the time it just does it job, but it doesn’t give too much joy :P
updated a little while ago due to this post… as the release number is not a .1, i wasn’t expecting this addressing cves. thanks :)
