not actually dead

If only it came to Xbox :(
I could play on my Deck, but I want to play this one co-op. We still have the Divinity games, which D:OS2 is apparently very similar, but I wanna try this!
I bought it a week ago and had buggy dialogue, soft locks, etc. in the house and at the gate to the vault. It was insanely broken. A fresh reinstall did nothing. Ended up refunding and buying Fallout 3, which has been fun so far. No clue why 4 was just busted for me.
Probably something big, industrial. Maybe similar to Serenity from Firefly. Maybe asymmetrical. Not sure, just gonna see what I make as I get access to the system! I’m not really one for planning this game out before it releases.

I haven’t, just normal Xbox controls + the back buttons.
Skyrim (two-handed Orc barbarian/bandit that despises magic, so goes out of his way to not use anything enchanted and kill magic users) and Fallout 3 for the first time to hold off my Starfield hype (on Series X)
Also bought a ton of rogue-likes this weekend from the sale - Hades, Risk of Rain 2, Slay the Spire, and Dead Cells. Never played Hades until now and it’s amazing, of course. The rest I’ve played a bit, but not a ton for each of them, so it’s fun getting into them all. I think these style games are some of the best for the Deck.
I’d like to get a card to boot Windows sometime just to play Destiny on the Deck
reads as if
Didn’t say you did
pretty much everything
And I didn’t say everything wasn’t
This post reads as if you’re a PlayStation player that still obsessed over the cOnSoLe WaRs and is just salty.
- Countless attempts to hype up the game and huge random assurances from the devs
You mean… marketing?
Pretty much everything you said is dumb or just not true, but that one was especially hilarious.
Everything looks amazing, but ship customization has stood out to me from the moment it was announced. I can’t wait to make a huge freighter ship like Serenity from Firefly live out my Firefly dreams.
(I read somewhere that they had help with this from iD developers)
In the recent IGN interview following Starfield Direct, Todd confirmed that this was for Fallout 4 I believe? And for Starfield, the improvements to FPS combat were done in-house by Bethesda.
As an Elite Dangerous player, I’ve also wanted this for years. This game seems like an Elite/SC player’s dream game.
I’m curious if these radiant locations are static once they’re placed. If I encounter a radiant quest that takes me to an outpost, will that outpost remain there in that save file? Or once I leave the planet, moon, or system, will it disappear? Either way, I think the system will work. If these locations remain, great. If not, well, I’m probably not going to care much about that random outpost on some random planet when I have a thousand others to explore. Just curious to see how this system fully functions in gameplay.
This isn’t really news anymore, and it’s not exclusive to Microsoft studios. Many games come to mind, notably GTA/RDR off the top of my head (outside the obvious Bethesda titles, since everyone’s more focused on them right now). GTA is also extremely close to the ten year mark between titles; RDR2 was eight years. These big, open world games have constantly been getting larger and taking more time to make for ages now.
Oh fuck, this will be my first since getting my Deck. RIP my wallet. Already planning on getting the Dead Space remake in a few days in Xbox while it’s on sale, so hopefully I can get something good for cheap on Steam!
I’m so extremely excited for this game. I love everything they showed, but the ship building especially looks fun. As a huge Elite Dangerous fan, lots of this looks absolutely amazing.
Literally what are you even on about
