If it didn’t have an official demo, I “acquired” it before I bought it.
I don’t buy games unless I know it will be something I like.

This is what I kept thinking about the entire time. The amount of other campaigns I played in NWN was bonkers.
In before next week’s article that the Montreal office is permanently closed and all workers let go.
Was that dev me?
When it was first made available to the public I played about an hour or 2 and then stopped so I didn’t spill the game. My one big take away was that I really hated all the companions, especially sheart.
I’m glad how well written they all ended up.
There kinda isn’t really any definitive science that indicates a specific frame rate that the eye can perceive.
There are studies however that show ranges from 30 to 90hz, and studies that show that human perception can detect flicker at up to 500hz even.
The issue is that nothing that happens in the real world is synchronized with what you perceive. So filling in with more Hz means there are more chance for you to actually perceive the thing.
To complicate matters further, our brains do a lot of filling in for us, and our eyes and brains can still perceive things you aren’t consciously perceiving yourself. So again more frames is always nice.

I was booed out of 2 guilds for suggesting the grind is dumb and that real content is better.
Once in WoW years after release when they introduced dailies. Which are a crock.
And once in Conan Exiles where the server owner kept making content, a lot of being amazing, but half of it being pointless getting dailies.
I was kind of shocked at how many people love dailies for some reason. Easy brain shut off tasks I guess?
A thousand times yes.
I’m so sad they stopped making those. 3 and 4 had SO MUCH character and style!
Surely not, right? RIGHT?!
Easy solution, go 3rd person.
To heck with WotC! Play Shadow of the Demon Lord/Weird Wizard
Do people riding horses gross you out too, or relying on dogs to find injured people in accidents? Animals have had jobs with people throughout history.
Do you not fight wolves, attack dogs, dragons, and other animals on any other game you’ve played?
You don’t have to butcher your pals. There is no in game need for it. You have pals, you pet them and feed them and provide for their needs and they help you cut a tree down. Sometimes they don’t feel like it and they just don’t do it. What’s the problem?
This company’s whole thing is to basically copy other successful games and make their own spin. Same company as Palworld.
Because people can’t have different opinions?
I still think the game is fine. I still think it did some very interesting things. I got over 100 hours of playtime from it. I played on gamepass too. So I definitely got my monies worth.
Does it have problems? Sure. Quite a few, but it’s still enjoyable enough of you don’t expect the too much. It also had tons of potential of they actually release the creation kit.
I don’t think it’s the worst game ever. It’s not even their worst game.
9 total so far.
I had fun with it. I put in about a hundred hours.
It’s fine. It’s not complete crap and had tons of potential. It missed the mark on a few things for sure.
These constant aggressive comments from the Dev team though… That I’m not a fan of.
Heck yeah! What a great crossover! The alien powers will fit in nicely.
I don’t understand what happened with this game…
My bothers and I played it quite early on and it was fine. We didn’t stick with it or anything. Just another spot to play together. No one was talking about it or anything.
Then like a year later everyone is going nuts about it. We see it pop-up everywhere.
Kind of… It’s like infinite automatic save states. At least that’s a good way to explain it, but the streaming thing they mention is more accurate. Nope like those flashback rewinds in racing games.
I was underwhelmed at first and wanted to be snippy cus fuck patenting game mechanics, but it really is a complex and interesting feature they want to develop It should just not be patented.
For real. I don’t understand why people keep doing that.
Make a torrent, best backup.
