I don’t use neopets anymore but I have been following the neopets saga. I will believe it when I see it, they promised this with the site redesign back when flash died, and most of the original games are still not playable years later.
They have a bot running that listens for certain commands in comments, so any user can lock a thread or do a bunch of different stuff just like a mod by commenting
4chan posts plenty of animal abuse videos because they think it’s funny to make people watch them accidentally
Or when an authoritarian government asks him to block literally anything
The college admissions scandal was for people who didn’t have enough money to donate for an entrance ticket. If you’re rich rich you just donate a bunch of money and your kid gets in, no scandal necessary
But physical disks now won’t let you play unless you download 500GB worth of “updates”
I miss old physical games where you had the disk and that’s it
I’m pretty sure spez wants the site to be a right wing hell hole, the admins actions on removing content certainly reflect that in my experience
I’m deleting all my free content off reddit. It’s not particularly exciting content, but I have answered a few questions people probably ask on Google (recipes, cleaning tips, etc) that will now be gone. Just gotta back up my most important stuff first
