I too would rather have an F-droid version instead of having to use Obtainium. There is additional inherent trust by going through F-droid’s process.

Back your settings up and restore them then.
If it sells well they may do a deluxe/pro version for $70 or $80 with a bunch of extra bells and whistles
There are a lot of games where it is a crucial or at least very useful extra layer of feedback. Some games you cant tell whats happening without it. In many cases it adds to immersiveness for a lot of people. Both Nintendo and Sony have put a great deal of effort into their current gen haptics.
It’s a big deal.
Same. Every gaming laptop i have ever had the displeasure of using has been absolute garbage.
The steam deck on the other hand? Pure kino.
She got dat white on fleek
Im the opposite. Deck goes with me everywhere, switch stays at home for the most part.
Yes, shares. Employee Stock Ownership Plans are a thing, they’re private shares in the company.
Doesn’t his ex wife own half of his shares now though?
Seconded
Nextcloud works just fine on my system, must be something with the way you set stuff up.
Then you need NextCloud, not Syncthing.
Run NextCloud on your NAS and you’ll be set.
Whats sad is that people keep wanting more client-side anticheat to fix this, when the real answer is server-side anticheat and changing the engine to stop being so leaky with that much information.
Every normal electrical box in every house ive lived in has a white wire, a black wire, and an exposed copper wire. Every switch has always had a green screw that the copper wire goes around. The zigbee adapters all seem to lack a spot for the copper wire, which is meant to help protect electrical equipment and prevent fires during events like power surges and whatnot.
How do you deal with grounding? None of them seem to have ground pins which is rather concerning
If big corporations hoovering your data should be on everyone’s threat list, then yea, i’d say its a huge benefit.
I’ll second this. All my aqara stuff works just fine.
SSH is the correct way. After 15 years of using linux, ive never heard of remmina
A friend of mine got the Deck HD and it looks good. I couldn’t tell too much of a difference between it and the stock screen’s color gamut but it was good regardless. The only thing I noticed off about it was that the pixels around the edge of the bezels seem to be underneath it a smidge, giving a weird effect of the edges getting cut off if you look at it at a weird angle.
I’m fairly techy, though I’ve been trying to move away from a lot of it.
For GoG games, you could just send a family member a copy of the game you downloaded yourself i suppose
