Seems like it would be terrible for motion sickness, I’m looking forward to it though.

A few games are getting official ports from Flat2VR studios as well, good time to be a VR player.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they pulled the same exact shit with the PC release. It’ll probably be full price as well, despite being over a year old when it releases on there. It’s not like I was planning on buying it anyway, certainly not outside of the grey market for 90% off.
Hit the nail on the head. I don’t think I’d mind the size of New Atlantis so much if there was actually enough content within it, but as it is, you have to run for a while to get to anywhere, meaning you’ll either fast travel or be bored while going on foot. I think Akila city is a bit better in that regard, since it’s still fairly big, and has some verticality, while also being denser.
I enjoy it for what it is, an “RPG” set in space. I’m using 100+ mods for it, and while that’s nothing for a Skyrim playthrough, I think it’s a decent amount for Starfield. They mostly address balance issues, bugs, make some things more interesting or work better, or just improve the visuals a bit.
The issue is that there aren’t really many mods that change the gameplay fundamentally yet, though one of the exceptions is Starvival, which has a lot of modules you can enable, that make the game more realistic, immersive, and interesting. For example, one of the modules changes starships, adding fuel and maintenance costs, and disallowing fast travel unless you’re up in space.
I think as the modding scene matures, people will find ways to fix most of the game’s issues, but only time will tell.
Definitely looking forward to it, hope it doesn’t turn out shit.
What a steal…
I can’t imagine playing it on a switch, would probably run very poorly.
Gestures broadly at entire CoD lineup
i hope the decision to use UE5 turns out well.
It does look very similar doesn’t it? Not even sure if the font Minecraft uses was made by Mojang, or if they’re just using an existing one.
Not in the EU (anymore, thanks tories), but I think it’s fine for small indie studios to get funding through government programs, though obviously it hasn’t turned out well in this case.
Do people new to the hobby preorder games? I’m genuinely curious, since I don’t know anyone new to it.
So in Civ 7, leaders and civs are separated. At the start of the game, you’ll pick a leader who you play as throughout your run, as well as a civ.
The civs available to you depend on the age, so if you start in Antiquity you’ll have appropriate civs from that time period to choose from. When you get to Exploration, you’ll get to choose another, and so on.
You’ll keep everything, it’s just that your name (I think) will change, and obviously, each civ will have its own strengths and weaknesses, different units, art, etc. I hope that, since they’re now tied to their age, it’ll allow them to really focus on what made them unique within their time period, rather than having to make the Roman Empire make sense in the Modern age.
I’m not sure what Civ 7 specific features there are, but I’m sure their options will depend on your chosen civs as well.
That’s what a publisher is for, and in this case they failed them completely.
Seems decent with some tweaking, won’t be playing it on high but that’s to be expected. Here’s the ProtonDB page
Had to enable bleeding edge proton experimental otherwise it would just black screen, then me and my friends couldn’t join each other until we each restarted.
iirc we’ve known about Sims 5 since before PDX’s game got announced, but maybe not. The biggest competitor was always Paralives to me anyway, since it looks better and more polished.
Nexus Mods Manager to Vortex to now this? Jeez.
Same, but the demo didn’t really give a good impression.
