We’re at least at Stellaris 3 at this point but it never ends.

Started playing ffxiv again, decided to make a new character since is been so long. Turns out fishing is kinda cool
If nothing else this game has done absolutely amazing art direction so far.
Neat. I love the underwater but not setting I’m seeing.
He definitely won’t deliver the moon, but i am interested in seeing what is made
… What? Dedicated streamers is a bizarre concept, playing different games is normal and good
I don’t play many MMOs these days, but i do know at least one Korean MMO that hits two of those. In mabonogi areas were unlocked by players after they released and whoever unlocked it has their name recorded at the entrance, and life skills (stuff outside of fighting; crafting, playing music, etc) were a major focus of the game. Honestly, expansive skill systems outside of combat are basically necessary for an MMO to be considered good imo.
Can’t say i particularly agree with the decision, the better call by far would have been to expand it to include men
Personally i just want them to create a magic focused game
Well damn
But why? They already remade it for the switch? Should we expect platinum next with how dirty they did that remake? And why is everyone things crazy for the original rescue team? Explorers of sky is when the series was at it’s best.
It’s also just the standard for selling your game on a big storefront.
Didn’t they sell a One Piece toy as an authentic replica katana for their merch? How do they justify that one
I mean, sports enjoyers have historically been EA’s go to rubes.
I don’t know if they actually had a good idea with 2 they just dropped the ball on, or if I’m reading too much into it; it feels like they were going for inevitability for the first third of the game, the idea that bad shit can and does just happen and you can’t really stop it as a single person, but then they went and made the biggest events immediately within your reach and killed off that story theme.
Inquisition wasn’t beloved though? It was a mid game at best and a terrible RPG (and dragon age game), i still remember all the excuses for it being terrible because of the shitty engine that couldn’t even handle an inventory, much less an rpg. ‘taking that ball’ is like chaining yourself to an anchor and jumping in the ocean.
Not sure i trust the companions to be any good either; from what we’ve seen they look very MCU
The average person is fucking stupid, and half of the population is stupider than that. It’s why gatekeeping is good, it’s why popularity is bad, it’s why the hipsters were right.
Japan has been done (although not in the same way as kcd), I’d prefer to see India or a less fantastic presentation of China.
Bohemia seems to be their passion, but i do hope that someone follows in their footsteps for an Asian setting or a South American setting. Europe is just a less interesting setting to immerse yourself in.
Although from a consumer standpoint it’s true a well. Official reviewers are often bought (directly or not), pressured in other ways, operate on nonsense scales, and are infamously not actually that good at video games. Player reviews are a Little better, but you have to be adept at weeding out whinging from people who suck at games or just suck broadly.
Streamers/YouTubers are the only real option, imo, as they actually show what they’re doing (no lying!) and have to build up an actual reputation of some kind to be noticed.
