Ugh, I wish my wife would see this. She’s been complaining that she couldn’t open her Google search results because the links go through some adserver PiHole is blocking (probably their sponsored links). I put her phone on the “don’t block anything at all” list and she’s been happy ever since 🤷

I am using DuckDNS and it’s working perfectly for me. I use the DynDNS feature of my Fritz!Box to update my DuckDNS-IP. The documentation on their website is spot-on for me, even for my IPv6 and I never had any issues with DuckDNS.
What I like most about the service is the possibility to use subdomains like my-service.my-username.duckdns.org. I don’t know whether this is a commong feature or not.
When you had problems updating your IP Adresse did you consider that DNS information takes some time to propagate through the internet? I think it is not guaranteed that you can access a recently changed domain.
How did you test your DuckDNS entries?

Please tell me why you think Bazzite is a fork of SteamOS. They have completely different foundations: SteamOS is based on Arch while Bazzite is a variant of Fedora Atomic Desktop.
Am I missing something?

Earlier this year I built something similar, although with more space for hard drives:
I used the following components:
| Mainboard | Topton N100 (AliExpress) This is actually a BKHD 1264 NAS | 136,69 € |
| RAM | 16 GB Crucial DDR5-4800 (Mindfactory) | 40,78 € |
| Case | Jonsbo N2 (???) | 138,83 € |
| PSU | 300 W bequiet SFX Power 3 (Mindfactory) | 50,39 € |
| M.2 system drives | 2 X 128 GB Patriot P.300 (Mindfactory) | 25,78 € |
| 392,47 € |
For storage I bought used 4 TB drives from ebay for around 40 € each.
Now the system is running 5 x 4 TB in RAID 6 as well as a 256 SATA SSD I had laying around as cache.
The system is using 25 Watts in idle with those 5 HDDs, 1 SATA SSD and 2 M.2 SSDs.
It’s a bit more you’ve been asking for but this option would offer you more expandability down there road.

It’s been a while since I played W3 but I remember Blood & Wine being a ton of fun. It’s basically a parody of overly flashy knighthood tales with all the pomp you can imagine. Has a decently sized map and lots of content too and kinda feels like an epilogue to the main game.
I full-heartedly recommend picking it up!

Oh lol I totally misread that. 🤣
Of course you’re correct: persistence is key and much more important than consistency (as in: perfectly nail every dodge, which is my problem).
Like many others already said: Probably the best take is to “understand” that dying is not failure but part of the progression system. But instead of grinding experience points to progress your character (which is totally possible in dark souls) you grind real experience by repeating difficult parts over and over again and progress as a player.
It’s actually extremely clever game design.

you just have to be persistent
Being consistent is actually the hardest part of the game for me…

I didn’t know, that HotS was still around. It’s been YEARS since I’ve played my last round!

I’ve read that you’re trying for minimal resource overhead.
Is lighttpd still a thing? Back in the day I used it to deliver very simple static Http pages with minimal resource usage.
I found a docker image with like 4 mb size but being two years old I don’t know how well maintained lighttpd is these days.

Interesting. Do you know how Cosmos handles storage and especially RAID?

Although the mentioned tools are great I don’t know how your comment applies to OPs problem. They are asking for a tool to manage their server and not for a tool to automate their torrenting.

CasaOS is great for very simple (basic!) container management and easy creation of basic shares but it doesn’t offer any tools for RAID management and is only single user oriented so it doesn’t have any access control built in to it’s Samba shares. These features might come in the future though.
I don’t know Yunohost but I’d recommend you Openmediavault. It’s Debian based, offers tools for managing RAID, Docker, Shares, Users, , Access control Lists, Updates and much more.
It’s actually amazing and in active development.

I am more worried about whether Topton can build a functioning motherboard than about whether they spy on me.

Thanks for your reply! Which board do you have?
But this expansion here is supposed to be for more for the casual player.
Yes but to be honest the term “casual player” doesn’t exactly apply to Factorio.

Did this change? I saw videos of Minecraft with ray tracing enabled and it looked honestly stunning.
Yes, you are right. I understood your comment to mean that you believe Bazzite is not immutable because you mentioned it alongside CachyOS.
Bazzite is great, I reall like using it (apart from a minor hiccup I am experiencing every now and then) on my gaming PC. On my laptop I use vanilla Fedora and it has been amazingly versatile and stable too.
