Personally I don’t give a flying Fuck what the law says, breaking copyright is the only thing preventing the world from being more of a dystopian nightmare with subscription mice and trains that break down if you take them to a mechanic and I can’t wait for someone in china or India to take the Open source code and make a better emulator.
I use Arch BTW BTW
I would say Id play the heck out of this but If Im being honest I have every single advanced wars ever made at home and never touch them.
To long and no explanation mark, it would never work.
Can’t wait to see what marketing BS replaces it.
My money is on Experience!

You know something with an exclamation mark.
The steam deck runs Linux and has to use a modified version of WINE(Wine Is Not an Emulator, that’s the downvotes I assume) but almost all games are made exclusively for windows, the games you can play on the steam deck are all running through a translation layer, now steam handles this well and they make it almost seamless but that doesn’t change the fact that you get some Jank and incompatible games, AntiCheat is the big one that comes to mind but hardly everything, I know it has troubles with Dx9 and earlier Dx, I have trouble with the Arkham Knight games, Gta 5 just borked the update, Vr isn’t playable,
It redirects API calls technically not that that changes much since that is essentially all emulation does on the same architecture but if ever they switch to arm it will be full on no asterisks emulation, yeah I was a little sloppy with my language but same difference.
In my opinion this would be a bad move, the steam deck has an iffy enough game library and emulation is notoriously more difficult on architectures they weren’t designed for, considering the steam deck has too emulate %99.999… of its library that would be bad.
First things first, unless you are strictly mailing yourself or you plan on having discussions with google/microsoft/apple… dump the mail Idea, Trust me it’s not worth it and probably won’t work.
Second for what you want almost everything will be held in ram and the drive won’t matter except boot time, I say almost because you want a samba server so the question quickly becomes how much data do you have and how much money are you willing to spend. I would make the argument that the boot drive should always be ssd but the rest is a matter of patience and money
TLDR: don’t bother with Email, boot is ssd and reset hdd unless you’re rich or not much data.
My money’s on the balls, Nintendo always likes to kick the balls.
Certain unnamed companies coughgoogle doesn’t like to trust Let Encrypt its definitely not an abuse of an illegal monopoly they have good reasons I promise.
But the whole point behind using a signed certificate is that other people can look at you and immediately know you are who you say you are if a company doesn’t trust you it doesn’t really matter what the motivation is you might as well use a self signed certificate.
Paid certificates have the money to make sure everyone trusts them and has a reputation to maintain so are more likely to defend a legitimate complaint.
99.999% of individuals it simply doesn’t matter(although you might have to look into it if you’re using android apps) but to a company the little bit that certification costs is worth every penny.
Learn NGINX that is the only answer, it’s a B!+€# to get configured but once you know how it will save you so much time, If you want cheat mode run the docker image and use the web interface but make sure to rtfm there are some gotch ya’s
Oops
Interesting, but incorrect
Assuming %0.2 Tax:
A $50 HDD would cost : $60
A $150 HDD would cost:
$180
With a difference of $160
Also reliability is basically the only thing that matters in an HDD if you are going for speed get an SSD
That whole thing reads like a fever dream
Guy was able to get Cuda on AMD, Really?!
AMD, approved, well yeah that makes sense.
Psych! We take it back??? Ummm why?
