I use it for 5 different sites. The syntax is easy. Posts, pages, etc are in easy markdown. Compiles your site (directly to your web root if you like) in under a second. It’s awesome.
Beszel v0.11 has switched to a maintained version of shoutrrr. Just saw the update on github.
thagoat@lemmy.sdf.orgto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Recipes, Meal Planning, and Shopping ListEnglish1·3 months agoI’ve tried them all and I found tandoori worked the best, especially if you want mobile apps. There are a couple options and untare works on both iPhone and Android. It’s what I use daily and my gd can add recipes she likes, and add items to the shopping list.
Shoutrrr works perfectly well with beszel.

Nice try, son. Now, stick to mansplaining something you actually understand and can articulate.

thagoat@lemmy.sdf.orgto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•What do you host on your backup servers?English11·6 months agoNone of those programs verifies integrity. Borg deduplicates, and optionally encrypts data. Restic is a front end for rsync, which only offers incremental back up. Meaning, restic/rsync compares your source and destination directories, and if the data are identical it does nothing, but if there are any changes it will upload only that changed data. None of the apps care what the data are, you can backup gibberish and they will happily put it another place for you.
thagoat@lemmy.sdf.orgto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•What do you host on your backup servers?English21·6 months agoYou do realize that what borg and restic do is make copies of your data, right?
Lol yeah, that’s it. Damn autocorrect
So I just saw this on hacker news https://Hostingyourgif.live Might be of interest
