They just don’t like people playing their games in ways that don’t generate profit.

This conversation makes me want to plug in my old XBox and fire up some Halo.
Wasn’t it called the Warthog, though? Or am I thinking of Halo 2?
Or, just like make a good game. You can work on a game until it’s good and then release it. Come up with some fun ideas, hire some good writers and graphic designers, spend some time making the controls and UI intuitive and responsive, and then balance gameplay through testing.
Oh, and get the music right. Halo: CE was like 90% about the music. When you hop in the back of the jeep, and the music is like “dun duh duh DUUN da dun duh duh DUUUN” and you start mowing down Grunts, or when you meet the Flood for the first time, those moments made Halo an experience worth sharing.
I got my SoundBlaster from my uncle who upgraded, and I think it was a Gravis. But that was like 30 years ago, so I might be wrong.
No, but I’m a dad. My last gaming rig had a SoundBlaster card.
I have a PS5 and have never heard of this game. Why are you so keen to talk about it?
Perplexica? What sort of sauce goes with that?
For a minute I legit thought Italy had dropped a new pasta shape.
VaultTec being evil wasn’t really part of the first game, but the evil megacorp exploiting (and encouraging) disaster to put profits over human lives, that’s an obvious critique of capitalism. Maybe he didn’t set out to make it a critique of capitalism, but that became part of the foundation in later games.
What, this isn’t a forum related to steam-cleaning your deck or patio?
I’m talking about that final race across the screen, which requires perfect timing and coordination which isn’t possible on a touch screen.
That’s on me, I played it on Android. The touchscreen controls were not conducive to navigating the final platforming level that requires perfect timing.
I played it on Android, and there’s a level where you have to run away from encroaching lava or something. It requires perfect timing on some parts (allowing for a rewind to help you nail it). It’s hard to beat with proper controls, but on a touchscreen it is practically impossible.
Did you fix the unwinnable final level?
If gamers are playing the same game, day in and day out, that means it’s a good game. Good job, you made a good game and you sold it. Make another one and sell that.
Gaming as a service is what needs to die. I don’t mind subscribing for access to servers, and I’m happy to pay for DLC that comes out long after the original game.
It was not a simple process. I’ve been trying for years to migrate, and gave up because it wasn’t worth the hassle. I have been playing Minecraft since the alpha, and I have bought the game several times over.
To know that my account is now simply gone means that I’m just that much less likely to return. If I have to rebuild, I’ll invest my time in a game that won’t be taken away from me.
I paid for Minecraft more times than any other game. If there’s a free way to play it, I do feel entitled to that.
I see Minetest is available for android. Can you run Mineclonia on a phone?
But it’s not just the cat. OP wants to track the foods the cat is eating and the allergens in the food, and then look for correlations and trends. You could manage most of that with a spreadsheet, but you’d have to update reference tables every time you add a new entry. OP wants something user friendly.
