That’s pretty cool. Where I work, there’s a computer museum and all of our stuff boots up and we have gotten them to load stuff but it’s a chore. We have an Apple Lisa but it’s a stupid thing. It’s best feature is the happy mac boot image and ding. Otherwise it’s useless.

4·4 months agoThere was global leader boards way back in the day. I think it was called the Quake World League, it was one that would count Counter-Strike. I am not 100% but I think it used gamespy to do much of its work. I remember when it showed millions of people active and I was able to reach a top 20 in Counter-Strike one week. I was able to break the top 100 many times before it changed.

Do you launch it from Steam or from the desktop app? I have done both but rarely does it fail. When it does I quit it and launch it again and it works. You might try blasting out the app preferences

my most memorable moment was right after running away from the starborn after the first encounter. Sarah was all about how mysterious they were and we shouldn’t make and determinations until we have proof. SERIOUSLY not 20 seconds later she tells me not to trust them because (spoilers)… Like REALLY?! WTF
