Even the ROG Ally comes with a free month of GamePass Ultimate, and a new Xbox comes with 90 days. I don’t see why a MS first party handheld wouldn’t come with some.

Microsoft could just drop a Windows handheld that can play Xbox games natively.

The Xbox already runs on a custom VM based on Windows 10/11. Microsoft themselves are the only ones keeping the two who systems separated by artificial software limitations.

I’d actually be OK with a SC game that has tons of cosmetic paid DLC. Pump money into the game to keep them developing it, and add some visual variety on the map.i stead of fighting against 3 Teran teams that all look the same, you’d have 1 team that looks like zombies or a football team or other wacky shit.

The irony is now that the Deck is locked down to Valve’s ecosystem, while other devices can play games from Steam too but also from Origin, GOG, Xbox, EA Play…

I used to use a Linux based AD replacement years ago but they turned that one into a pay model and if I’m going to pay for something I’ll just use Windows Server

The Armory Crate SE app on the Asus Ally does a great job launching games from all the different stores/launchers.

I’ve been wondering how hard it would be to get it working on another PC.

SBMM for single player? As long as it means actual focus on some good single player game content it sounds ok.

I’ve yet to make it to the opening menu screen of this game.

Having to make a login that requires you to go to an outside website, then to have that website be completely unusable… Tried on two occasions and never bothered to try again.

It’s a shame because I was an avid PD2 player.
