What current games don’t run smooth? It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it. And it definitely will have a longer life than the Nintendo switch because it’s a PC, there are no generational limits on what it can play.

Especially if you’re a gamer that loves indies and lofi games like Subnautica, Vailheim, or pixel art games like Children of Morta, Hyperlight Drifter, Moonlighter and the like.

The steam deck will be functional long after the PS5s of this world are collecting dust in a closet.

I remember reading that it has problems with some AAA games released this. Cannot remember which ones though, but there’s probably some articles about this. And come to think of it, the complaints were probably about some games not running smooth 60fps all the time, which is not a problem for most people.

I don’t think it has issues with many games. Plus it doesn’t have a monthly fee to play online. I feel this is sooo overlooked. If you use the Deck for three-four years you have essentially gotten it for the same price as a Ps or Xbox sub.

Could be. Like I said, I only remember reading about this as I have no interest in owning a Steamdeck myself. Just tried to be helpful and bring that up.
