This is the biggest load of shit. When I saw that game on the Game Awards, I went to their site and found the usual NFT crap talking about the $CATY token, air drops, financial investment risk disclosures, etc. It looks like it was scrubbed since, but likely because the game was getting so much attention after the awards.
Currently the game doesn’t have any AI disclosures on its steam page. I don’t know if you need to do Crypto disclosure. It doesn’t look like there is any info about this game other than a pair of CG/“in engine” trailers
I can’t find the crypto stuff, but you can see the promo images they scrubbed off the site on Wayback that look pretty AI generated: https://web.archive.org/web/20241217184111/https://www.playcatly.com/p7/detail
I can’t 100% say it’s linked but it took me about 3 seconds to find a $CATLY coin white paper from last year. They mention it’s meant for NFTs. The coin’s websites are gone and missing from the archives.
To be fair, it could be a coincidence. It doesn’t mention other scam coin nonsense. Something in my gut tells me it isn’t a complete coincidence though.
If it wasn’t for the game awards section at the top of the page I would’ve dismissed this as “they bought the domain from someone else” wtf it looks like some kinda cat fashion webstore.
Maybe that was a website template? IDK how to explain this lol.
Impressive graphics but that much fur has got to be pre-rendered. Very likely won’t look like that in the end.
It is a fake AI game just like their previous game plantly
I tend to believe you, but they are claiming it uses no generative AI, even in this trailer.
does it have cats
