According to a leak from 2 years ago.

It is done currently using a pairing system, so it means that the remaster is running using both an Unreal Engine 5 project, and the old Oblivion one. For instance, new graphics are rendered in the UE5 project, but most of the gameplay/physics/etc is still done in Oblivion.

I hope that’s not the case, seems like it could be a train wreck.

On the other hand…it would make modding easier.

Read it again. Under the hood, it’s the same old game. Just rendering will be handled by UE5 (if this leak is accurate of course).

Man, your reading comprehension needs work. Dude literally said it’s not a new engine, and you first responded “So it’s a new engine, you’re wrong,” and then, “Doesn’t matter if it’s a new engine, you’re wrong.”

Based on what you responded to, no, it’s not a new engine, it’s a new rendering engine being overlayed in the exact same way Halo CE Anniversary did.

Not like it matters what I say, you already realized you were wrong and moved the goalposts with that “Demon’s Souls” comment.
